The book suggestion of this week is about logos and it's not only one book but three. We are talking about Gestalten's line of books on contemporary logo design: Los Logos, Dos Logos and Tres Logos.

Los Logos and Dos Logos documented this unceasing evolution. Expanding on the previous editions, Tres Logos demonstrates how influences from illustration and street art have become increasingly evident in logo design inspiring ornamental patterns with logos replacing the abstract tag. Additionally, companies are becoming more daring and exploiting their logos to identify their brand with a certain style and appeal.

Fully indexed and structured thematically, the book draws connections between the applications and the field for which it was intended. Like its predecessors, Tres Logos explores the exceptional visual language and stylistic approaches to logo creation by designers around the globe, exhibiting thousands of examples and simultaneously providing information about the "makers'" personal approach.

Submit News Featured Tutorial Quick Tips: Create Geometric Wall Painting Pattern Experiment new techniques is probably the best way to evolute and to find your own style. I deeply enjoy sharing some of my design / art experiences thru tutorials with you guys. So for this week I going to teach a little experiment I did with wall painting, painting in huge scales was always interesting to me, since the logic of the effects you want to achieve just change radically from just using your finger to using your two arms, something way more physical than just using a computer. var ACE_AR = {Site: '814365', Size: '728090'}; Navigation About UsContact usAdvertise Here
